Bread Making in Year 5 – January 2023

Year 5 have enjoyed designing and making their own bread.

They spent weeks tasting bread, making preliminary designs, investigating additional ingredients and sketching shapes of bread rolls before deciding on their final design. They worked brilliantly in groups, sharing tasks and taking turns. They also learnt about the science of yeast reproduction. And last but not least, the bread also tasted great!!!!!
