OFSTED and SIAMS

Our Most Recent Inspections

OFSTED

Our most recent Ofsted inspection (where the report is published) took place on 18th and 19th July 2023-  when we were visited by Mrs Rebecca Sharples HMI. The main headline is that Tarleton Holy Trinity CE Primary School continues to be a GOOD SCHOOL.

The report is very positive, and states that, ‘Pupils walk into Tarleton Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School with a spring in their step in the morning. They are happy to attend this warm and nurturing school.

Relationships between staff and pupils are strong. This helps pupils, and children in early years, to feel safe and happy..’

Every parent/carer has the right to comment on how they think the school is performing using the Parent View website. Click HERE to let Ofsted know how good we are!!

SIAMS

Since we are a Church School, it is a legal requirement that we have both Ofsted and SIAMS inspections. On the 28th March 2019, Mrs Pym carried out our most recent denominational inspection. Her reports states that, under the new SIAMs schedule, Tarleton Holy Trinity CE Primary School is judged to be a GOOD School overall – but judged as excellent in our Impact of collective worship and our Effectiveness of religious education.

Once again, it is a very positive report, with two of my favourite quotes being:

‘The school’s vision is clear, focused on Christian values and deeply rooted.’ and

‘The high quality of pupil’s behaviour and sense of social justice is evident in their positive and caring choices and actions.’
