West Lancs Cross Country Championships 2016

‘We are the Champions!!’

On Wednesday 12th October we took two teams to Tarleton Academy to take part in the West Lancashire Sports Partnership Cross Country race…and didn’t we do well!!

The boys went first…and Dru told me that there was some bumping at the beginning…in fact he had to jump over someone who fell right in front of him! The boys did really well with Dru being our best placed runner in 11th.

Then it was the girls race…and we did even better. We had four girls who finished within the top 20…with Faye finishing 6th and Ella walking away with the silver medal for second overall. But the girls did so well that the team received the Gold medal and were Champions overall!! We are all so proud of all of them!!
