Ascension Day at St Mary’s Windgate – 18th May 2023

It’s Ascension Day today and a new tradition of ours is to take our Year 6 children to St Mary’s Church, Windgate, to join in with an outdoor Eucharist service with Fr Mark.

Fr Mark led the service and Danny was there to read the bible passage. It was lovely to see our friends from Mere Brow there as well!!
The children enjoyed drinks and biscuits afterwards and even had time to explore the Old Church and it’s Graveyard.
They were so well behaved and respectful – I am proud of every single one of them!!
