Ascension Day 2024

Father Mark always holds an outdoor service on Ascension Day. Ascension day this year fell on Thursday 9th May.

Year 6 and a group of our teachers joined Fr Mark, Danny and others to take part in the service which took place at the ‘old church’ – St Mary’s Windgate. We were also joined by our friends from Mere Brow Primary.

Thank you to Doris Ascroft who came with us and once the service had ended, she pointed out to some of the children where their Grandparents were buried.
