Our School Council Plant Trees with Brian Parkinson – November 2024

Brian Parkinson, one of our former parents and owner of ‘bpmaintenance’, came into school today to help the school council plant some trees.

We are still developing our Forest School Area and have contacted ‘The Woodland Trust’ for some free trees.
He taught the children how the dig and prepare the hole for the tree – how to space the trees out and how to make sure that they are ‘dug in’ with your feet once planted.
Brian also donated a larger tree which will stand proud at the edge of our Forest School Area for many years to come.
The school council members were amazing – thoroughly enjoyed themselves – and enjoyed getting muddy!! What a team!! – and thank you Mr Parkinson – for your time and generosity!!
