Year 2’s Bee Talk – July 2024

Today Mrs Sheila Birkby brought her honeybees to Year 2.

They found the queen , she was marked for us with a red spot. They tasted 3 different types of honey-blossom honey, rapeseed honey and heather honey all made by the same bees. They tried on bee suits and found out lots of facts – just ask Year 2!!
