Class 4 Stories – Miss Iddon’s Class

Sean Perkins Author and Illustrator – came into school this morning to read one of his latest books to the children. It is called Oscar and Ben – The Sleepover (https://www.seanperkinsauthor.com/online-store). Once Sean had ‘perfomance read’ his book to whole school, he then carried out two workshops with our Year 3 and Year 4 Classes.

This afternoon, Year 4 started their afternoon by playing Drums with Mr Beaton…they were very, very good!!  

Ellie, from West Lancashire Sport Partnership, came into school today to work with our Year 4 and Year 6 children. She showed them the basics of boxing – and then in twos the children had a go – jabbing at pads. Some of them didn’t realize how much energy you need to box!! Here are

Am I seeing double? It’s April the 1st…and we thought we would play a trick on Year 4…

This half term, Year 4 have been taking part in gymnastics during PE. So as a nice surprise, we had a visitor “in class” today (via Zoom).

Last night our Year 3 and 4 Poetry Competition winners performed their poems at The Hub in Banks.

The poet Andy Tooze visited THT this morning to work with our Year 3 and Year 4 Classes.
