This morning was our first visit to church during Lent.
Fr Joe led THT and some of our friends from Tarleton Mere Brow through a wonderful worship talking about preparation and fasting / giving something up.

At the end of the service the children we invited to have the sign of the cross put onto their forehead using ash. Ashes used on Ash Wednesday are traditionally made by burning the blessed palm branches or crosses from the previous year’s Palm Sunday.
