As part of Year 6’s Science Curriculum they cover the topic of the Human Heart.
To help them gain more experience of ventricles etc. Miss Bennigsen led them through a lesson which allowed them to dissect a lambs heart (which is silimar in structure and function to a human heart).
Some of the class were a bit apprehensive – but others enjoyed the whole experience!!
