A visit from a Poet – 18th June 2024
The poet Andy Tooze visited THT this morning to work with our Year 3 and Year 4 Classes.
Our friends from Rufford Church of England Primary School joined us for the morning and we were treated to a brilliant time!!
The morning started off with Andy reading some of his poetry (with the children joining in)…and then he held two workshops – one with Year 3 and one with Year 4.
Andy said that he had had an amazing time and we all agreed that we were very proud of the poems that the children produced (in such a short space of time)!!
