During Tuesday’s Forest School the children made their very own medals. Mrs Towell says that,
‘We listened to the story ‘Ready, Steady Mo!’ and talked about the author, Mo Farah (Olympic Gold Medalist). We also thought about other events/sports that we might receive a medal for. The children had a go at using a hacksaw to cut wooden discs and then a rotary drill to make a hole in them. They decorated them and threaded ribbon through the hole. Today’s task wasn’t easy but they all had a go and I’m very proud of them all.’
