Four of our former pupils popped into THT to say hello today. They have just finished their exams and have finished High school (Bishop Rawstorne Academy).
Andy Tooze, a children’s poet visited THT yesterday. He talked to he whole school at first and then led some workshops with Years 3 and 4…the children (and staff) had a wonderful time!!
For about 10 minutes this morning we were a member of staff ‘short’ so I went into Year 1 to help out. Whilst I was there – four very helpful children decided to give the playground a good sweep – what a group of stars!!
It was lovely to take part in the first ‘Full’ Tarleton Ecumenical Walk of Witness for a while – with the last couple of years being ‘scaled down’ due to the pandemic. Many THT children took part in the ‘parade’ and were spread across many...
Year 6, and Year 6 from Mere Brow Primary, were invited to take part in an Ascension Day service outside St Mary’s Church in Tarleton – the old church by the Coe Lane Traffic lights.
Our children looked brilliant in their Red, White and Blue colours for today…and had a lovely Jubilee Lunch prepared by Janet and Yugin in the kitchen…and we finished lunchtime off by singing the National Anthem!!
During the last couple of weeks we have been selling raffle tickets for our annual Friends’ Easter Raffle. There was a main prize for each class and 7 smaller prizes for the runners up. Well done to our winners!!
