Friends PTA
‘Friends’ Parents Teachers Association
- The Friends PTA is a group of volunteer parents who raise money for the school to ensure that our children can benefit from items or activities over and above those already available through the school. Over the passed few years, we have managed to raise a figure in the region of £10,000 per year for the children of the school!
- The Friends PTA is a registered charity who meet regularly to plan events and discuss new ideas on how to raise money for the school.
- We ensure that the fundraising events are FUN and anyone is welcome to come along and help with the planning, volunteer on the day or just come and join the fun.
Funds from PTA events helped buy IT Equipment
- In the past, the money raised by the Friends has contributed to:
- new Computers
- outdoor play areas
- the Interactive TVs in each class
- fencing around the Bog Garden
- resources for the Foundation Stage Outdoor Learning Area
- new table and chairs for class refurbishments
- There are fun events for everyone, so please come and enjoy the fun activities such as Quiz Night, Bingo Night, Spring Fair, Summer Ball and our Christmas Market. The children can enjoy time with their friends at the Bog Eyed jog, Cinema Night or at the Discos.
- Without all the ideas, effort, time and your support, none of this would be possible.
- Please support your child if they would like to come to our events or ask for contributions to help make our events a success.
- If you would like to help at any of our events, we always need more pairs of hands, so you are always welcome.
