The Blackburn Diocese RE Pupil Conference – 2025
Today, two of our Faith Advocates – attended the Pupils’ RE conference where they learned about Lego Serious Play (LSP).
The idea behind LSP is to think differently, use creative ideas to build 3D models in problem solving and team building.
The children were taught the rules of LSP and they followed these to complete 10 progressional challenges from making a building to depicting a Bible story, reflect on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (Love never fails), include one of our schools’ Christian values and finally design a final piece that interpreted the lyrics to “Waymaker”, one of our favourite songs! Loads of spirituality, diversity and courageous advocacy avenues explored and challenging RE enquiry.
A fantastic day with new friends made across the Dicocese and some wonderful ideas to bring back to share with everyone at THT.
Well done to our Faith Advocates – you are a credit to our school.
