Ash Wednesday 2025

This morning we were in Church for our Ash Wednesday act of worship.

Bishop Philip led the service and told us how Jesus was tempted by Satan whilst he was in the desert – but said ‘NO’ as Jesus always chose to do things for other people rather than for himself. The children carried that message out of school to try and continue during the period of Lent – try do things for others – rather than for yourself.

The service finished with each of the children being ‘ashed’ by Bishop Philip and Fr Mark.
