Year 4 use New iPads for Real!! – April 2018

Year Four used the 15 new class iPads today to research designs for passport holders as part of their topic.  They used the internet to research designs and they “screenshot” their favourites. They also copied and pasted the screen shots into a document which they then annotated.

They used the iPads to source materials – fabric, threads, joining devices etc and have come up with a wish-list of resources they would like.  They are going to use the iPads next week to write emails to persuade Mr Smith to use some of the school budget to buy these “much needed supplies”!

Also today, THT received the delivery of the iPad charger trolley and so we used this ICT and DT lesson opportunity to label the iPad charging cables and charging station shelves in the trolley with the new labelling machine.

According to Year Four – today has been, “The best day ever!”
