The Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Appeal – 17th October 2017
Mrs Marshall (Mr Marshall’s wife) visited school to ‘launch’ this year’s Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Appeal.
If the children would like to join in with the Appeal, they are asked to fill a shoe box as a Christmas Present for a child, less fortunate than us in a different country. These can be shoe boxes that you have collected at home, or you can buy one for 50p from school.
Sometimes filling a shoe box can be expensive. So if you would like to contribute to the appeal, but find it too expensive to fill a whole box, you could always join together with one or two other people to complete one box…or simply just send in one or two individual items and we can add them to boxes which have a spare bit of room.
