The Parable of the Sower – 22nd March 2017

This morning, Bishop John led the service in Church and taught the children all about The Parable of the Sower.In Worship this week we are looking at some of the Parables that Jesus taught the disciples. The Parable of the Sower (also known as the Parable of the Four Soils) is found in Matthew 13:3-9; Mark 4:2-9; and Luke 8:4-8.

Bishop John told us how the seeds were scattered and depending where they landed depended on how well the seed grew. This was linked with our lives…with a good start and good roots (in Jesus) we all can grow strong in life!!
