The Easter Walk Through – 8th April 2019

Today was not any Old Day – not an M&S Day – but a very special THT day – one which hopefully the children will remember for a long time.

Each of the classrooms were set up as part of the Easter Story – from Palm Sunday in Mrs Dimmock’s Class – through to the empty tomb on Easter Sunday in Year 6. Year 1 told the children about the temple, Year 2 was the breaking of the bread at the last supper and Year 3 was transformed into the Garden of Gethsemane. The children then watched Pontius Pilot wash his hands (her hands) in front of the crowds before Jesus’ Crucifixion on Good Friday. It was an amazing day – thank you to all the Staff, Governors and helpers who made the day possible!!
When the children were not taking part in the walk through, they enjoyed some craft activities in the hall.
…and the people who also made the day possible were:
Our friends at Sooty’s Plants, Rev Eileen Heaney, The Window Box, Father David and Sue at the Rufford Arms!!
