Some Year 5 News – March 2018
Some news from Year 5…
Year 5 have taken part in a reading challenge at home. For each time they read, they received a raffle ticket. in total year 5 read 471 times between them over 4 weeks. The raffle was drawn this morning with the winning ticket receiving a hamper of Easter ‘goodies’.
Year 5 have also been participating in an Astro Science Challenge run by the Unlimited Space Agency (UNSA) and Tim Peake. They completed a series of 6 online missions including Fit for Space, Space weather, Spaceship Earth, living in space and Astro coding. The children successfully completed the missions and graduated to become official agents of UNSA. Well done Year 5!
