Remembrance Day at THT – 11/11/20
Today, our children from year 6 gathered around the War Memorial at Tarleton Holy Trinity for the 2 minutes’ silence.
We remembered service men and women who have sacrificed their lives in the past and present in a quest for peace.
We made a wreath in class and it was placed with the others to show ‘THT remembers’.
Charlie was asked to lay out wreath; usually, his mum (who is still in the Royal Navy) would read out all those who gave their lives from Tarleton.
The silence was very well observed and respected by all the children and it was clear they were reflecting on the significance of the day.
We will remember them.
