The Annual Tarleton Scarecrow Festival – 6th & 7th May 2017

What a wonderful event the Scarecrow Festival was…and what a Community feel there was between all the Scarecrow entrants, the Church and the School.

Thank you all the helpers who contributed to the Scarecrow festival which took place on the Saturday just gone. So many people passed on their praise and thanks saying what a lovely day it was.

With regard to the Scarecrow competition, after some deliberation, the judges came to a unanimous decision.

In third place – No 25: The Farnworth’s – Despicable Me

In second place – Entry 46: Nina Watkinson (Village Dry Cleaners) with The B.F.G

The WINNER is… Entry 18: Ivy and Arthur Woods with Mary Poppins.

The judges also awarded a special merit award to Tarleton Holy Trinity C of E Primary, while all the individual entries were very good the collective display was excellent.  They could really see the hard work that the staff and pupils put in.
