Mr Anwar visits THT – 6th December 2017

We had a special visitor at school today…Mr Anwar came and told us all about Islam and his life as a Muslim. 

He started the day by telling all the children in school the clinks between many of the World Faiths, and how Islam and Christianity share many of the same prophets (and Angels).

He then visited some of the classes. He showed our children how Muslims pray, taught them some songs and also invited them to write some letters and words in Arabic. It was a very interesting day and we are looking forward to some of Mr Anwar’s friends who follow different faiths, visiting our school after the Christmas break.
