Maya Day in Year 5 – 14th March 2018

On Wednesday, Year 5 had a wonderful day experiencing a variety of activities.

They tasted chocolate drinks made with authentic cacao nibs, they learned Maya Maths and how Maya told the time using their own calendar.

They also experienced weaving, painting pictures of Maya footballer playing ‘Pok -ta-Pok’ and used a special APP to investigates 3D models of Maya artefacts. A day to remember!!
