Egyptian Day in Year 4 – July 3rd 2019

Year 4 had the most amazing day on Wednesday 3rd July.

They were visited by Dr Tuesday, an Egyptologist, who helped them discover the mysteries of hieroglyphs and showed them how the Ancient Egyptians mummified their dead -very gory!! She helped them discover the amazing spectacle of the tomb of Tutankhamun and joined them for a delicious Egyptian lunch made by the wonderful Janet in the kitchen.

In the afternoon, they made amazing Egyptian masks with Mrs Williamson.  All the costumes worn by the children were fantastic.

What a day to remember!!
