Egyptian day in Year 4 – 8th May 2017
We had another amazing, exciting Egyptian day today with the wonderful Claire Ollet (aka Professor Tuesday).
After a virtual trip down the Nile, we imagined being Howard Carter, opening tomb KV62 and seeing ‘wonderful things’.
There was a feast fit for Pharaohs and some singing and dancing.
We acted out a mummification (no actual humans were harmed in the process) before making pectoral necklaces and starting our own ushtabi dolls.
It was a marvellous day where marvellous memories were made!
