A visit from Alex Woodfield – 28th November 2018

On Wednesday, we invited Alex Woodfield into school to lead us in Worship…and the children were amazed!!

Alex is the Youth Leader from Hesketh Bank Christian Centre and he talked about how we can all ‘plug in’ to God. He used a lamp-stand and a lot of different light bulbs to depict how we are all different and yet we all ‘shine’ with God’s help. ‘Are you plugged into God’s power?’ he asked us…

I felt like the old ‘traditional’ bulb and then said that Mrs Dimmock was the pink ‘disco’ one. Alex then spent some time with Year 6 and shared some of his experiences with them.. Thank you Alex for a wonderful morning!!
